TRANSAMERICA

A short trip to San Francisco provided the opportunity to photograph one of my favourite buildings, the Transamerica Pyramid.

I visited the building over two days, from afternoon sunlight (here) to early morning sunrise and illumination. I love this area and I love this building. There something pure about it but also something nostalgic about it - a vision of the future from the 1970s, recently renewed by Foster and Partners Architects.
